Cofimco India continue to be successful
Cofimco has just signed a very large project with SPIG for the new expansion at Reliance Jamnagar Refinery Complex.
Scope of supply is 70 high efficiency fans with 11 meters diameter, to be installed in the CT complex.
New expansion at Jamnagar represent the third phase of the project for the largest Refining Site of the World.

COFIMCO awarded for Phase 2 of Rabigh Project
COFIMCO has recently received order for large fans for Cooling Towers to be supplied to SPIG. Fans will be installed in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for extension of an existing Petrochemical Complex. Petrofac, the international oil & gas service provider, has been awarded two engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for Petro Rabigh’s Phase II petrochemical expansion project. Petro Rabigh is a domestic public company in which both Saudi Aramco and Sumitomo Chemical Co Ltd hold a financial interest. Petro Rabigh operates the refinery at Rabigh, about 93 miles (150 km) north of Jiddah, Saudi Arabia. COFIMCO is providing additional cooling capacity of 10800 m3/hr by supplying 24 large diameter Axial fans with our blade profile 35F, which provides enhanced advantages both in terms of performances and lowest vibrations, thanks to our revolutionary pultruded FRP blade shaft connection to hub.
COFIMCO bags order for Petronas LNG in Malaysia
Hamon d’Hondt (France), subsidiary company of the Hamon Group designing and manufacturing air-cooled heat exchangers, has awarded COFIMCO the contract for the supply of 275 FLEXI fans with FRP blades for the Petronas LNG terminal (Train 9) in Bintulu (Borneo Island, Malaysia). This order will be a representative reference of COFIMCO state-of-the-art know-how, completing an extremely long track record in supplying axial flow fans to the Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries in the most severe operating conditions all over the world.
COFIMCO INDIA awarded by NTPC
The power deficit state of Maharashtra is all set to get an ultra-thermal power plant, with 1,320 MW power generation capacity and with more eco-friendly facilities than the existing thermal power plants.
Located 15 km outside the Solapur city, the power plant, commissioned by Indian National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), will have super critical technology, which will help lower emission of carbon dioxide from the plant. COFIMCO’s large diameter fans equipped with 35F blade type will be deployed on top of the 57 cells Cooling Towers accomplishing the immense water cooling capacity requested for the working of the steam turbines.
