Cofimco achieved this goal thanks to a great team effort where sharing the 'importance' of safety with all workers along with the external suppliers was the basis/ingredient for this success. The continuous and constant effort applied between all of Cofimco’s departments has contributed to eliminating risk situations consequently spreading a fundamental safety culture.
Continuous staff training, a structured reporting system for potential danger warnings, plant compliance, investments in the most modern machine safety devices, the commitment of Management and Cofimco employees, are the key elements that have allowed to attain this great achievement.
The Pombia plant is certified according to the ISO 45001 standard, which guarantees the safety and health management system of workers.
